Why Use Urban Decay Primer Potion?

Urban Decay Primer Potion is the best eye primer on the market today. I did a whole lot of research on the subject, because I knew nothing about the product or eye shadow primers in general. I say it's the best overall, this for the following reasons.

Eye shadow stays put

There is nothing more frustrating than taking the care and attention with eye makeup and then having it fall apart a couple of hours later. Sure if you like the natural look with just a smidgen of bronzer and you don't really care how much is left at the end of the day, it doesn't matter.

Sometimes I find some of the cheap shadows have great colors, but they are a disappointment because while they look good in the case they never look the same on your eye. Especially the powder ones - you have to use too much to get the depth of color.

One of the tricks to Urban Decay Primer Potion is that you can save money by using cheap eye shadow. It actually enhances the pigments and makes them cling better.

Stops creasing, smudging and fading

I tend to have oily eye lids, especially in summer. Oil and sweat coming up from your skin causes eye shadow to melt into creases. By creating a barrier between the skin and makeup, this eye primer stops the creasing.

Smudging and fading are also prevented because the primer potion sticks to the eye shadow.

It even makes eye shadow water resistant (not water proof) so you can get your eye makeup wet in the pool or a bit of rain, it will fade a little. Be careful though, it's not going to do anything for your mascara - if that isn't waterproof you could end up looking like those Panda bears.

Improves the look of your eyelids

Some people even wear it without makeup to even out their lid color. It makes your skin look more smooth and firm.

If you have a problem with skin being too red (bluish tinge) then the Eden range will tone it down - it has a yellow base.

Feels Good

This product is colorless, thin and creamy. It is very lightweight - more like a sheer moisturizer (although it is definitely not a moisturizer) and doesn't cake or anything.

Even though it is best for oily eyelids/skin, it doesn't dry your skin out.
